CERAKOTE FAQ'S
Cerakote is a ceramic-based finish that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. Cerakote features a unique formula that enhances abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness.
These properties are rigorously tested to ensure that Cerakote ceramic coatings remain the best in the industry. Cerakote outperforms any competitive coating in both laboratory and real world conditions.
It’s nearly impossible to say exactly how long Cerakote lasts as it depends on multiple factors of its environment and usage. However Cerakote dramatically outperformed Teflon, Xylan, Powder Coat, Paint, Stainless Steel, Duracoat and more.
